The purpose for this statement is to inform the users of this website with regard to the collection and use of personally identifiable information.

The State Board of Education takes the privacy of visitors to our web site very seriously. Personally identifiable information, for the purposes of this statement, refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual who is the subject of the information. The website does not routinely require an individual to provide personally identifiable information. If, as specialized services are developed in the future, an individual is requested to provide such information, the information will be handled as it would be on an in-person visit to the office of the State Board of Education. Users should be aware that any inquiry or correspondence sent to the State Board of Education may become a public record and may be subject to disclosure under the Idaho Code, 9-337
